  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • The programme is great for building knowledge and confidence, however it is very disorganised at times. Just recently they seem to have taken on feedback and are improving but for the first 18 months it was not great.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • Very poorly organised to start with, but they are not taking on feedback and seem to be improving

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • They are very supportive, allowing me the time to focus on my work, and helping with questions I have.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I have regular reviews and can always contact them if I need any help between these. The tutors are also good at helping when needed and they have the ACE team which give general advice

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It has helped me understand processes, helped me develop my knowledge so I can run projects on my own, since starting the apprenticeship I have had 4 promotions all through hard work and knowledge I have picked up along the way

    10/10

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes, but with the apprenticeship and a full time job I find it hard to fit any of these in

    6/10

  • 9a. Would you recommend E.ON to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • Great company to work for, very supportive and offer great benefits. If it wasn't for the work I do at E.ON I would not have done this apprenticeship and not sure what I would be doing as a career. It has also helped learning alongside doing the job

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to E.ON?
  • Go for it! Be true to yourself and honest with where you can be. It is such a diverse company and offers a lot of different options. It is also a great company for development, they put a lot into their employees and recruit for promotions within the company.
