I manage and run boiler propositions from point of concept through to implementing them, including system developments and colleague training.
I have picked up a lot of new skills and it has allowed me to develop from an advisor up to a project management role.
The programme is great for building knowledge and confidence, however it is very disorganised at times. Just recently they seem to have taken on feedback and are improving but for the first 18 months it was not great.
Very poorly organised to start with, but they are not taking on feedback and seem to be improving
They are very supportive, allowing me the time to focus on my work, and helping with questions I have.
I have regular reviews and can always contact them if I need any help between these. The tutors are also good at helping when needed and they have the ACE team which give general advice
It has helped me understand processes, helped me develop my knowledge so I can run projects on my own, since starting the apprenticeship I have had 4 promotions all through hard work and knowledge I have picked up along the way
Yes, but with the apprenticeship and a full time job I find it hard to fit any of these in
Yes
Great company to work for, very supportive and offer great benefits. If it wasn't for the work I do at E.ON I would not have done this apprenticeship and not sure what I would be doing as a career. It has also helped learning alongside doing the job
Go for it! Be true to yourself and honest with where you can be. It is such a diverse company and offers a lot of different options. It is also a great company for development, they put a lot into their employees and recruit for promotions within the company.
