my job role as a early years educator is to plan and prepare activities, materials and lessons, teach children in a safe and positive environment, speak to parents and carers about their children's development, monitor children's progress and report any issues, work with colleagues on curriculum planning.
I have further development my skills I had already learnt and also have learnt new ways of approaching situations and tasks thanks to realise. my tutor Alisha s very support and answers and questions I have in a lot of detail which helps me during my programme. I complete a score card every month which shows me my progress.
I thoroughly enjoy my programme with realise, I have previously started a level 3 with a different company however I felt I was drowning in work loads and assignment were not explained properly. whereas with realise I get a professional discussion task per month and I cn work through it at my own pace as a learner.
personally I think my programme is very well structured and organised, OneFile is very easy to get your had around and everything has its own place which ensures you don't have to dig deep to find something which as an apprentice it is very help and relieves a lot of stress.
my employer is amazing she gives my plenty of time during my working hours out of ratio to ensure I have enough time to compete my work and allows me to have rest time at home. she always checks in on me and asks me how I'm feeling with work loads etc.
from my training provider I also receive a lot of support when it comes to completing assignments, if I have my questions about my off the job training. when I have questions my tutor answers them ini a lot of detail which allows me to adapt my work or knowledge based on the information I recive.
I feel that the knowledge skills and behaviours I have learnt from my programme has build my knowledge of children which allows my to perform better on my role. for example if a parent has and questions regarding their Childs development I can answer in a lot of detail as I've built my knowledge through my qualification.
