I am Account Executive, which means I assist the Account manager for a large retailer on all our Nutrition products. We work together with our internal brand and supply teams, along with the external customer retailer teams, to get our company's products onto the shelves for consumers to purchase and use!
My communication skills have been developed within this role, as we depend on the assistance of many stakeholders across our business so we have to align all contacts to make the end result the best it can be! Along with public speaking, my confidence has grown from the opportunities I have been given. I was once scared to speak in front of many people, however now i enjoy it!
I enjoy my programme lots, the scope and range of opportunities that are presented to me is great! Unilever are brilliant at allowing apprentices to grow in knowledge, by learning on the go and allowing up the experience first hand.
Very well organised. Our onboarding was seamless, with all the help we need made aware to us and relevant stakeholder introduced. Our everyday diary, allows us to have a day each week to study and more if needed, along with regular University days for all content to be taught to us.
I receive lots of support from Unilever, they are very invested into my development both in work at my University work. I know exactly who to reach out to when I need a helping hand or just a genuine chat to speak through things!
Lots on continuous support. When delivering our lectures, they are very prepared and knowledgeable. Along with when we follow up on email for questions, their response is quick.
I am learning valuable skills from my training provider which I bring back to the office to help in my work. Such as leadership styles, techniques ad ways to mange certain situations.
Lots of extra-curricular activities to get involved in! From Netball matches, football games and reading clubs!
