My role as a apprentice sales assistant involves carrying out every day tasks in store this could be working on delivery making sure the store is fully stocked and ready for the day or being on the till providing a great service to our customers no day is the same with the new lines that come in and 3 weekly promotions changes. There’s always something to keep me on my toes
I have progressed from timid to confident in my communication skills. This is not only with the general public but also with all staff members and management team. Allowing me to elevate my game and make a mark as a proud member of the savers family. Meeting many customers from different backgrounds always makes me focus on my approach so I can continue to provide the great service we have in store
I enjoy the programme to the fullest im always learning something new and with the great team we have in savers I know I have always got support if needed. Every day is great working with the team and seeing the smiles on our customers faces make all the work we do worth it.
It is very well structured I know what I need to develop my learning and how I can get it. With expert examiners helping guide through the course showing what I need to do with monthly updates I’ve never had to think oh what can I do next I have a aim and I meet and surpass it.
I receive so much support from my employer they are always ready to answer any my questions and push me that extra step so I can better myself and achieve my goals. They want me to improve as much as I do and having that backing makes it all possible
The same as my employer. Everyone involved with my apprenticeship has helped me get to where I am today and it shows in the output of my work. The motivation they provide for me to perform the best of my abilities is unlike any other place I’ve worked at.
I feel this qualification is the stepping stones to me achieving what I want to do in the future it teaches me all side of the role which I might of missed and what the insides of the company do on a daily bases. I haven’t just learnt my role I’ve also learnt to appreciate others.
I take active part in running the social media page interacting with the public with the stores post is great fun and opens our customer base to new people. I love getting involved and being the face of it, it shows our store has a great team who are willing to show how much they enjoy their time working their.
Yes
The work environment is perfect it’s a place to learn and develop skills with guidance on hand when needed. The support I’ve received from all the team during my apprenticeship at savers Bittern has set me on the right track for my future career and the help from my examiners will make sure I get my qualification with the highest marks possible.
Be your self at savers is the best advice I can give some one. We are all different and have different views this is what makes a team work being accepting of new things and taking on advice is the best way you can grow while enjoying yourself some days I don’t realise the time where I’ve been talking with customers helping find products and working with such a great team.
