My role on a day to day basis consists of working with my rotation team on shared goals driving business value to ensure we have maximum output in every quarter. I join meetings daily with partners from huge global companies and get to network with industry professionals. I work on deals, quotes, projects and LISN tasks to support the rotation team I am based in.
I've learnt many new skills but one that really resonates with me is the skill of networking as I have been able to connect with so many new people from different backgrounds and walks of life who have a clear passion for thriving together and crossing the bridge to possible.
I enjoy my programme very much as we are given freedom to explore different segments in the business and also an army of support to navigate through such a large company while early in career. I love how Cisco puts university as such a top priority as an apprentice with the 20% of your working week allocated to university study.
It is really well structured and there's many practices in place to ensure this, thanks to the apprenticeship leadership team.
Lots of support, I can call on my colleagues and managers in any time of need. There's lots of mental well-being support available for employees and this shows why it is such a great place to work
We can complete Time2Give as a team which is great for bonding and socialising while carrying out charitable work. We also do lots of social events as a team e.g. GoApe
