In our apprenticeship we are given the opportunity to move around the business, our first team was the fleet team dealing with corporate accounts. We are now on the reservations team, working with retail customers.
I have learnt a lot about the role in which each department plays in the success of a company. As well as being able to put my college learning directly into practice.
I am enjoying the opportunities in which this programme is giving me, i enjoy the learning about the way the departments all work together behind the scenes. Analysing the way in which the actions of a team influence the entire company.
The college and company work together to organise learning opportunities and tasks to demonstrate behaviours and increase out learning. The college visits the work place approximately every 3 months and supports our learning along side our supervisors who set tasks that align with the college topic.
Our employers work closely to help use work based examples to incorporate with the coursework and lecture topics.
Our training provider visits the work place regularly and we have ability to contact them at any time, they support the employers and contact us with the lecture topic and help with the coursework aspect.
I believe that the qualification helps us to perform better in the role as we demonstrate the things learnt and evaluate the way our role affects the business.
We have been given multiple opportunities to network with level 3s in the business, learning from department heads. There are also events such as a charity football match.
