  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I work in a small team as a sales assistant with managment responsibilities hence why I took the course, this involves providing customer service as well as the smooth operation of the team.

  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • I've learned a lot but not a lot of skill that can be applied as I have learned that in my job.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I have done an course previously and it was okay, this course particularly the people can be quite unreasonable so much so it has caused a lot of stress. I do enjoy the learning part but the people in charge and the mentors keep rushing you -I don't think they have any previous experience.

  • 9a. Would you recommend LEAP to a friend?
  • No

  • 9b. Why?
  • As mentioned their expectations are unreasonable, if you've asked to extend a current task they still expect you to complete the next task on time, they don't mark your work, when you're really ill and are able to provide a doctor's note they still expect work to be handed in on time irregardless, when you're off they still expect you to hand work in on time irregardless of whether you have access to your work or not, there are so many pointless meetings in every month some are just repetitive, mentor responds late I could understand if they were busy marking submitted work but they don't do this so I can't understand why they respond so late and have to reach out more than once. The course is good to get that qualification on paper to appy for management jobs but that's all the experience will not be missed.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to LEAP?
  • Apply if there really is no other way to get to your ideal job and make sure you really have thought about this as you may need to be prepared to take a huge part out of your personal life to also work on this.
