I run weekly and monthly payrolls. Daily bookkeeping. I complete VAT Returns, Year End Accounts, Personal Tax Returns, CSO1s, Dormant Accounts. I help clients with their queries via telephone and/or email. I sort post. I contact HMRC on behalf of the clients.
Yes, I have greatly improved my communication and excel skills. I am learning how to create the accounts in my studies.
I really enjoy my programme, my manager is very supportive. The support available from my training provider, Kaplan, is phenomenal. I am able to contact a tutor or somebody on the support team everyday.
The programme is very well structured and organised. There is a clear learning journey map with recommendations on which courses to complete first for a better learning experience. I also have a talent coach who is very helpful.
I receive a lot of support from my employer, they help me with my studies, work, time management and difficult situations.
Kaplan and ACCA provide a very wide range of resources for students from flash cards and mock tests to support teams that you can contact everyday via telephone call.
I feel that my qualification is directly related to my job role. It is the theory behind my everyday activities.
