I start off by going in and saying hi to all the children then we start breakfast which is usually cereal. We then go outside if the weather is good we set up some activities inside for the children and then at about 11.55 the children have their lunch. then we go outside again and do or story time to improve the children’s language and development and then we go inside and have tea and then the parents start to arrive so we do handovers
I have learnt to put things on the app such as sleeps and have also learned about safeguarding and child development. I have learnt how to write an accident report.
I enjoy my apprenticeship to a large extent the people there are nice And the children are lovely.
It is well structured and I understand most of it
I message my assessor when I am struggling. She will reply quickly and help me as best she can.
I know what to look out for with whistleblowing and safeguarding procedures. I know how to plan activities to help the children with their different developmental needs.
