  • I assist customers around the showroom, answer calls, book customers in for home visits and design appointments, design lifestyle kitchens, keep showroom clean and tidy.

  • I have developed a new confidence with communicating and assisting customers. I have learnt how to design a kitchen and bathroom using the CAD system, how to measure a kitchen on a home visit.

  • I enjoyed the programme but it starts to get very repetitive towards the end.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • It is very well organised and structured but I do feel like it is missing some areas that would be helpful, for example, solid surface training, shower panel training etc.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • A lot of the colleagues and staff at wickes are very supportive and helpful, however I do struggle to receive support from management

  • A lot of support but sometime struggle to get an answer for questions without chasing

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I believe I have become a much more successful KBA due to this apprenticeship

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Hardly ever, at least towards my way and with my store.

  • I would say to go for it, have an open mind, network and get involved.
