I tend to work on client site or in the office and work on a variety of different areas. I have worked on planning, execute and completion. My role changes day-to-day and each client is extremely difference, hence there is no typical day working at PwC.
Yes I have learnt how to use the PwC software i.e. Connect and Aura. My Excel skills have massively increased and I have learnt many shortcuts and ways to help my daily work.
I have thoroughly enjoyed the programme. The placements have been challenging, but I feel like I have massively developed and enhanced my knowledge.
When considering the PwC side i.e. the placements, it has been very organised. However, I feel that it was disorganised at university. Based on our feedback, the university have been working to change this.
PwC have offered a lot of support throughout my placements and during university.
The university have helped massively when working towards my qualifications as they have provided assistance and support throughout. Obtaining the Kaplan materials was extremely beneficial.
I feel that the qualifications have helped my audit work, as I have been able to apply the theoretical knowledge to the client work.
Yes there are lots of social activities at work, including firm-wide and individual teams.
Yes
I have thoroughly enjoyed the placements and look forward to coming back to full-time work in September. My third placement has been my favourite as I have been provided with more opportunities and feel that I have created a strong internal and external network.
I would advise others to understand the PwC values and make sure they are on top of recent news that is relevant to the profession.
