In my job role I work as a Level 3 Mechatronics Maintenance engineer. In this role I spend my normal day working with the other maintenance associates, working to repair faults and damage that has occurred on production equipment. This is equipment that is used to build the cars such as robots and conveyer belts.
Throughout my apprenticeship I have gained new skills and developed my existing skills. this has been done though college and paper work as well as through my on the job training.
Every day can be different this helps to keep the job fresh.
The apprenticeship is split up depending on the years. it is well structured in the fact that you spend the first year on site working in the on site college.
BMW are very good at helping to support through the apprenticeship process.
