My role is a Craftsman, I have learned how to joint and will learn how to carry out work on poles. Day to day I go around with my colleagues learning new techniques and they allow me to do some jobs whilst being supervised.
i have learnt how to plastic joint, ive learned about all the different types of ppe and how to climb poles
i have enjoyed it alot since i started here
it is quite well organised, once we had to go to the training school right after college so we didnt get time back in our depots to showcase our skills but apart from that its been good.
i receive support when i require it
i receive alot of support, they want to see us all do well
i feel like i wouldnt be able to perform my role without my qualification
in the depot 2 of the guys run a football club every wednesday night, one goes to badminton every monday and at college there is plenty to do too
