  • I work in wellbeing. On a day to day I rotate around different business areas promoting wellbeing resources to our colleagues.

  • Yes. Developed my confidence and overall presentation and people skills. Given so many networking opportunities with people in and outside the company which has helped me build a good career network.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I love my apprenticeship program. Apprentices are a huge part of BA so I’ve always felt welcome and super involved in the community

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • From day one we were told about how our program is a journey. Even from the beginning we were always looking towards our end goals and ambitions

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I always know who to go to when an issue arises. Constant catch ups with placement mangers and line mangers mean we never feel left out of anything

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • So many resources are available to me plus my tutor provided by my uni who helps tremendously with my dyslexia. Lectures are always on hand and always efficient when responding to questions

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I love that our assignments are catered towards an aviation environment. Makes it so much easier for us to be able to understand and apply to our projects within work

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • I’m involved in several communities within BA including WINGS our woman’s inclusion network.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Amazing place to start off a career. So much support especially if you’re a school leaver and loads of opportunities that you won’t find anywhere else


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to British Airways?
  • Be yourself! There is no one type of person that BA look for. Take time when answering questions if doing an interview. If you need to take a minute to think through your answers take it. You want to have your best foot forward
