I worked as a buyer of fragrances for Unilever. I supported contracting and buying of fragrances used in HC and B&W products.
Negotiating, project management, time management, strategic thinking.
Massively rewarding and insightful. I wish this for all of my friends who took a placement year.
Always something to do, I was given a lot of free reign to tackle projects as well as more regular task as well.
Company culture is inclusive and modern. I enjoyed the more relaxed work environment and WFH policy.
It has massively affected my choice in career- supply chain is for me!
