During my day to day work I produce and fix schedules or I support my line manager or co workers with work that has high importance. I also take part in additional activities that help my learning towards improving in areas that I feel need work.
I've learnt a massive variety of new skills that have helped me in and out of work. With new responsibilities it has allowed me to become confident and dedicated to showing other people my work.
I absolutely love the programme as it has provided me with a great work life balance which was my main concern but BAE have been so supportive with all aspects of the job role.
I believe the structure is fantastic as they have lots of different reviews and updates to ensure you are getting the most out of the degree apprenticeship. Additionally they also provide support if you are feeling overwhelmed
The support is second to none. In all aspects of my work I am always checked up upon and provided instant support when I need it. Furthermore, they make it easy to reach out for support as the team around you are all willing to help as much as possible
You receive a lot of support as said previously they ensure that you maintain the work life balance as much as possible so that you have enough time to study and revise for tests and future sessions with the university or with the apprenticeship
In the job role there are certain targets to hit and the training you are given is more than enough to help me perform better in my job role. There is also numerous training activities, videos and scenarios that you can take part of to ensure that you are confident in all the different areas.
One of my favourite things about BAE is the amount of extra curricular events or activities there are for you to compete in. I have taken part in numerous activities such as joining the BAE 5 a side football team to also the social events afterwards to help with bonding and collaborating outside of work. it is one of the best aspects of BAE as there is something for everyone.
Yes
They give you a such a great apprenticeship and ensure that you are not bored the entire way through. With the apprenticeship there are also endless opportunities to move around and try different areas of the corporate world.
Don't be nervous when coming to the interviews! It is all natural and the interviewers make you feel so comfortable when taking part. Also ensure to add lots of skills and activities that you have done to your application so that they recognise you and see how amazing your skills could be to them.
