I am involved ion the Home Service Supply Team, so I support Sky's supply chain (UK & I) which includes business critical systems. This involves meetings with internal and external stakeholders as well as problem solving to resolve important incidents surrounding stock as reported by the business.
My leadership skills have developed massively and my work prioritisation skills have drastically improved with my line of work.
I thoroughly enjoy my programme it allows me to develop in a comfortable enviornment whilst being given freedom and constantly challenged.
Nicely structured and well paced with a constant line of support via our early cares department and managers as well as the training supplier.
I recieved massive support, we have monthly masterclasses and weekly check ins to aid our development as well as discussions with our manager on areas of focus and progress. The support was unmatched and made the journey that much easier.
My Training Provider was thoroughly involved and engaged in discussion with myself surrounding coursework.
My qualification does not correlate to my role 100% however the basic technical knowledge gained from my learning has allowed me to grasp key concepts involved in my role much easier.
My employer engages in multiple networking opportunities both in and outside of the workplace and actively encourages social activities to employers.
Yes
The development and support I have recieved has been unmatched, they truly support you as best as possible to create a leader for the future. The investment spent on yourself is noticed and for example the business payed trips to explore other sites really allows you to realise you are apart of one big team.
I would advise anyone who is thinking of joining to do so, I had no technical background which I felt was a disadvantage but it is actually an advantage, it allows you to take a fresh approach to any learning you undertake. The freedom to learn and explore diffrent business areas until you resonate with a job role allows freedom to build a career I don't believe you get anywhere else.
