Day to day my role involves shadowing a colleague from my department and taking on a share of their responsibilities. i attend daily ready to run meetings and take on my own projects to make improvements within my area of responsibility and within the interior trim series planning team as a whole
Yes, my communication skills have greatly improved as well as my presentation skills.
i really enjoy my programme as it allows me to step outside of my comfort zone and develop new skills. as well as pursue project i am interested in
my programme is fairly well structured although i feel alot communication and planning is left to the apprentice them selves in terms of apprentice extra curriculars and placements
My employer is normally there to offer support when i require it in person and if they are offsite i receive a prompt online response , even outside of working hours
i feel like the communication between college and work could be better, or more transparent to apprentices as i feel as though my employer isn't really kept up to date with my college work. When reporting absence it is hard to find who to contact
I don't feel like my qualification is very relevant to my role other than the fact certain jobs require that level of qualification
Yes but i chose not to take part
Yes
I feel like it allows you to make informed decisions about you future and steer you into career paths you may not have previously been aware of, while encouraging skill building and self development
be prepared to have to make decisions about your future and build your own path to get there
