I work within the test and finish department which requires me to assess, maintain and repair the vehicles which come off of the production line. This has a large variety of jobs from general assessment to large scale repair jobs.
I have learnt a lot of new skills both within my workplace and college time. These highly revolve around the automotive side of things, e.g. working on cars in all sorts of ways like mechanical, electrical and trim. This is also constantly developing throughout my apprenticeship.
I enjoy the programme to a high standard as it allows me to focus my work and education onthings that i believe will significantly benefit me in my future career. As well as me being able to work on large variety of things.
The programme is generally well structured/ organised. However does require extra input at times in order to continue into certain areas.
My employee is constantly offering support whenever needed or requested, but does not make you feel like you are constantly being told what to do oor how to do things.
My training provider is always giving ways to assist me wo work towards my final qualifications and be able to meet all goals set by my employer.
I feel that my qualification and education that works towards my qualification provided by my training provider helps me largely to perform better within my role in the workplace.
There are multiple optional extra-curricular activities that are offered at work. These are setup to assist you in multiple ways that otherwise may not be fully supported.
Yes
It is a very well structured program that is laid out to assist you in your career in and out of the company. The training provider is linked closely to the company in order to assist you alongside. Overall the support is good and there is lots of future opportunities as long as you try for them.
Make sure you are constantly looking towards what you can do next to support and progress yourself within the company and think of where you want to be. Ensure that you know about the company and know about what you are applying to for what it can lead to in the future.
