my current role is working in Pruef inspection where I and a team inspect a certain amount of cars a day.
from my previous time at inspection i have learnt a new perspective of inspection and it has greatly improved my ability to detect defects through a customers perspective
I like coming in and doing the work at my placement, there have been a few jobs where i haven't enjoyed the work and that makes doing the programme more stressful but overall i just like to do the work and do it well and not worry about anything else
It hasn't been very orginised,my most recent placement was very last minute and none of the people i was assigned to knew i was coming, but a lot of the other placements have had some warning even if they get delayed for a while, communication is also lacking at times as well for plans and events etc.
I receive support when i ask for it, i'm not sure what else to say. it can be a bit slow to receive support at times but it is always there.
I received lots of support from my college when i was doing the qualification and i am really thankful to them for helping me pass the apprenticeship
our course was about lean manufacturing and i have used lean and have thought about being more lean in the way i do my jobs, its not always impactful but it does make me reconsider the way i do things to make it more efficient.
there are but i would prefer not to take part in them, even if they are mandatory. i want to work at my placement and not have to worry about anything else asides maybe training.
Yes
Rolls royce is a company that carries a lot of weight as well as being a very good employer, the jobs i work are very good for their effort required and the money earned (sometimes), i would also recommend it to anyone who is also into cars in general because its very technical and diverse in jobs .
keep your nose clean, sell yourself to the employed on why you should be picked over everybody else and demonstrate why in your interview. good luck
