As a senior solution advisor, I act as a trusted advisor to SAP's customers. This involves supporting our sales team with generating new and repeat business and helping our customers to be successful through the adoption of SAP solutions.
Through the governments apprenticeship levy scheme, I completed a Level 4 apprenticeship in Project Management. Additionally, I am now completing a Level 7 post-graduate diploma in Sales Leadership. These programmes have vastly developed my skills in managing projects and leading sales teams.
Completing an apprenticeship alongside full-time work has its challenges, however, it is incredibly rewarding since it offers the opportunity to actively apply the learnings directly to your role. Without a doubt, this is the best way to learn and develop your skills and benefit most from the course.
Both the L4 and L7 programmes have been highly structured so as an apprentice, the expectations are clear and I know what I have to do to be successful. This also makes it easier to manage balancing my day job with the demands of completing an apprenticeship.
Whilst most support is provided by the training provider, SAP have been incredibly supportive at the times when needed. I am extremely grateful to SAP for continuing to support my professional development through these apprenticeship opportunities.
My experience with both training providers couldn't have been more positive. I have always felt incredibly well supported. All feedback I have provided has been considered and any concerns have been quickly and suitably addressed.
The knowledge and skills I am gaining through completing these qualifications have been pivotal in helping me to grow as an individual and I am already seeing the benefits in my role. It also supported me in gaining a promotion to become a team lead.
Yes, SAP offers a variety of extra curricular activities, from football and netball teams to book clubs and volunteering opportunities. There really is something for everyone.
