I support project managers and data managers with business as usual tasks and projects.
I have developed my communication skills and learnt the basics of project management on the job.
I enjoy learning about project management on the job and applying my university learning to the work that I do every day.
Well structured. University is structured through modules and the work programme is organised well as there are alot of apprentices doing it. This means that we often have team building and reviews which help with progress.
My line manager is very supportive both in work and for my learning. This is helpful as it encourages me to focus on my studies so that I can apply it to my work. The apprentice manager is brilliant at organising apprentice events and ensuring we keep on track for our reviews.
My training provider schedules regular reviews with me and my line manager and encourages frequent correspondence to ensure I am happy in my role and with my learning.
My learning has applied in the majority of aspects of my work which means I understand everything going on and can further develop my skills in both work and my education.
Yes, there are often socials or sporting events to get involved with outside of work.
Yes
It is a supportive and encouraging work environment. In my case, my manager is always encouraging me to focus on my university work and understands when I may need extra time to finish assignments.
Be yourself because your personality is sometimes more important than qualifications and they want people who will be team players.
