My role as a shift manager is to help oversee day to day operations and run shifts. My responsibility when running shifts is to ensure the safety of my staff and customers are met and to oversee the overall metrics and operations of the shift.
I have learnt many new skills and developed existing skills. I have a greater understanding of leadership and the different types there are and how to motivate my staff to the best they can be. My skills of being a manager have also improved greatly.
I am throughly enjoying my program and would strongly recommend it. I have learnt many things that can be adapted and applied to many different aspects and roles.
I would say it’s well organised, I haven’t had any issues with my program and I have been able to find help and support well.
I receive all the support I need and they are willing to help whenever they can.
I would say I receive a lot of support. I know that if I need it I can ask whenever.
I feel more comfortable and confident in my role thanks to this program and training provider
