I am a quality control leader that manages a team of 3 deputy managers and 6 assistants. Our daily duties consist of checking over 4000 lines with the fresh side of the business to ensure the best quality is delivered to stores and for our customers.
Within the learning I felt there was some practical application in which I could relate to my current role.
I did enjoy learning the theory behind management techniques and all the topics did relate to my role in some capacity
Lifetime changed the operational system to a program called Aptem where all the course work and resources were available and was very user friendly.
My manager was very supportive throughout my apprenticeship and checked in regularly.
I experienced a little wobble as I did change Lifetime team members 2 months in, and I very much connected with my first as I was able to open about my challenges in completing the apprenticeship and they offered great support.
It helped me overcome some challenges and I have grown in confidence with this experience.
