  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • We have a well established Apprenticeship Programme in the business, however, not in my area of expertise so to some degree it feels a little bit like my apprenticeship is paving the way. However, we are working collaboratively on achieving the goal so it makes the process a lot easier.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • The course is quite fast paced and predominantly self study based which makes it a little challenging to some degree. I am also one of the first intakes for the new solicitor qualification route which is a little challenging for both myself and the training provider. However, it feels that they put their best effort in delivering the course given its novelty.

  • 9a. Would you recommend E.ON to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • I've worked for E.ON for over 16 years in various roles and I can say with hand on my heart that I can't think of a more supportive work environment, in particular for someone with good work ethic and ambition which they will always want to cultivate. E.ON invests in people and I am the best example of it as I move on from an admin role through E.ON funded legal degree to completing Solicitor qualification programme which I am coming to the end of now. You could say I am a fully home grown professional by E.ON.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to E.ON?
  • Don't hesitate as you will find there is most likely a place for you in this hugely diverse company if you look closely.
