I am a Trade supervisor, I look after my Tradesmen. I deal with Account reviews, Upgrades, Quote work, Front of House Merchandising, Money Handling and Finance. I work with Top Spending customers making sure that I can give them the best deals to keep their trust. Building trust with other customers also.
I have been learning many more skills since being promoted in December. This is a very challenging job and you need a lot of patience but I thoroughly enjoy my role.
My programme is very interesting so far and I feel challenged enough that I can continue to to do my day job without my apprenticeship being an interuption.
Very well, the schedule was set from the get go, which meant I could get all my training booked in. This has been very useful for rotas and holidays.
A lot of support but I feel it could be a little bit more supported or remembered. I feel I need to book in my apprenticeship time a bit better.
Whenever I have a question, I also message Felicity and she always helps me almost instantly. She lets me know thoroughly what I need to do so I am very grateful.
It helps me a little so far. Most things I have learnt so far are already things I know how to do or have been doing in my role as Trade Supervisor. It has been giving me pointers so far so I do still appreciate it.
We book in a night out every quarter for our team to enjoy to team building outside or work. This can include playing sports and having a picnic or having dinner and going for drinks. We are a great team.
