My role at work is a trainee technician and on a day-to-day basis, I will be servicing or checks on vehicles but sometimes I will be doing a bigger job with a mentor or if I know how to do the specific job I will do it by myself.
I would definitely say I have learnt new skills I know 100x more then I did when I started my apprenticeship.
I do really enjoy what I learn on my job and it’s nice to work on a real job and have a job structure to my life.
I do think that it could have more structure to the program it is very good at work but the collage side of it is a bit confusing at times and I don’t think the collage communicates with my work very well but it’s still.
I revive a lot of support from my manager he is always trying to make sure he gives me all the best jobs for my learning and he really helps me get all my work done.
I think the support is good when they are here but I don’t really see my tutor that comes into work a lot and that can make me feel a bit like I don’t know what I’m doing a lot.
Writing the job cards out has really helping me to start figuring out how I can explain things to customers in a professional yet still a way they can understand I do think it helps.
No there is not
Yes
I feel they do a lot to help my through my apprenticeship
