  • 2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
  • Yes i have been able to bring my experience on planning, risks, issues, contract management & procurement up to the standard in which is needed to become a project manager.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoy my apprenticeship as it allows for me to build upon skills that I wouldn't have had the opportunity to do if it was not for the programme. I like the independent learning that i do as it allows me to increase my skills within my professional area.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • There is some miscommunication regarding standards and what is needed within case studies. However the overall structure of the apprenticeship is great at developing your knowledge and practical skills, by combining the practicality of case studies and the knowledge based workshops.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I receive a lot of support from my tutor who i have regular check ups with regarding my process, sometimes if i want to engage with my workshop leads i find them hard to contact due to the volume of work they have.

  • I receive a fair amount of support through regular check-ins and supporting documentations.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • My qualification has allowed for me to develop knowledge of best practise for my skills, understand how different parts of project management work together to achieve high quality outcomes. I am effectivly able to translate this to my role.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Because they have effectively supported me through my apprenticeship and this has allowed me to feel confident when applying for my project manager role.

  • ensure you have regular check-ins booked with your tutor from the beginning.
