  • Providing care to children aged 3 months to 4, tracking their development, providing stimulating and challenging activities to ensure that they are able to meet their next developmental goals

  • I have learned more about the development of children, I have gained more confidence in tracking their developmental progress & writing observations. I feel lots more confident doing circle time also.

  • I do enjoy it, it took a bit of time to get used to the methods of assessment in comparison to my college course, but I feel that the way it’s being taught is very beneficial and flexible

  • Quite well

  • Lots of support. If I need any empty documents to use as evidence I am able to have those. They are very supportive

  • Quite a lot. I am able to message her if I am stuck on anything

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • Quite well. I am able to perform better in many aspects of the job and was able to use my knowledge from the apprenticeship when questioned about safeguarding in a staff meeting

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • We occasionally go out together and also have Christmas parties for everyone to get together. We are also occasionally sent to other nursery’s to cover which has helped my socialising a lot

  • 9a. Would you recommend Nanny Bears to a friend?
  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • They care a lot about their staff and their children. They have a really good approach and ethos and it is just such a beautiful environment to work in. Everyone is so caring and it truly is like a big family


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Nanny Bears?
  • Everyone is so lovely so as scary as it can be to go to another setting for the first time don’t worry! Enjoy every moment and just be yourself
