Providing care to children aged 3 months to 4, tracking their development, providing stimulating and challenging activities to ensure that they are able to meet their next developmental goals

I have learned more about the development of children, I have gained more confidence in tracking their developmental progress & writing observations. I feel lots more confident doing circle time also.

I do enjoy it, it took a bit of time to get used to the methods of assessment in comparison to my college course, but I feel that the way it’s being taught is very beneficial and flexible

Lots of support. If I need any empty documents to use as evidence I am able to have those. They are very supportive

Quite well. I am able to perform better in many aspects of the job and was able to use my knowledge from the apprenticeship when questioned about safeguarding in a staff meeting

We occasionally go out together and also have Christmas parties for everyone to get together. We are also occasionally sent to other nursery’s to cover which has helped my socialising a lot

Yes

They care a lot about their staff and their children. They have a really good approach and ethos and it is just such a beautiful environment to work in. Everyone is so caring and it truly is like a big family

Everyone is so lovely so as scary as it can be to go to another setting for the first time don’t worry! Enjoy every moment and just be yourself
