Modelling and drawing alterations and additions to Royal Navy ships. Constructing drawing packs to be used to in the manufacture of said alterations and additions
Learnt lots of new 2D and 3D modelling skills.
Somewhat enjoy, enjoy more with more engaging and exciting tasks.
Not very much organisation between different departments in the apprenticeship scheme.
Lots of support
Not much support - primarily left to my own devices to complete training.
Helps me understand more intricate areas of the business I will be working on and further understand mechanical principles.
Social events with office staff
Yes
Overall good company with good benefits and supportive staff (can differ across the business).
Learn as much as you can about the business. Its not all sunshine and rainbows so don't expect to have "the best job in the world" but make the most out of everything you can and take as many opportunities as you can get.
