Day-to-day experiences vary entirely on the placement that you have been allocated to. Each placement usually last 6 months with varying degrees of engagement. Tasks can consist of updating document templates, process confirmations or shadowing senior members of staff through a specific complex task.

Again, very placement dependant.

The perceived support is again dependant on the placement that you are in. Some line managers make sure that the 6 months are planned and involve some sort of PDP, others not so much.

Research you specific role so that you understand clearly what your job will entail. The job adverts are entirely vague and generic.
