For the first year, I do 3, 4 month long placements in various business areas. I then specialise in one of these areas for the next 2 years. During year one, I work towards a level 3 business admin qualification. On year 2&3, I work towards an additional qualification.
Yes- I’ve learnt masses of new skills: - Project management - Leadership - Professionalism - Business fundamentals - Interpersonal skills - Business fundamentals - Planning and organisation And much, much more.
I really enjoy the programme. I think the advantage of being able to rotate around business areas for the first year is MASSIVE in comparison to other apprenticeship schemes. It’s great- especially if you’re not 100% set on what you want your future career to be!
I think the structure is amazing - like I said before, the rotational aspect is so advantageous
I receive all the support I need from my employer. I was told I have designated people to go to for support from the start, and support has been consistently good since I started.
A great amount
I would say that the qualification does help, but my roles are so unique that I find myself learning far more from the rotational placements than the formal training. Though, of course it’s still great to have.

Yes
I think that all round, this apprenticeship is great.
Be yourself in the application… we are looking for POTENTIAL, not the finished product in an apprentice. Just be yourself, show your energy and enthusiasm for the business and show off that you’ve done your research.
