Apprentice Hgv technician, day to day is Doing wear and tear repairs like break pads and service items and inspecting the lorry’s on their 8weekly PMIs.
While being at collards my skills have Developed massively with the help of other technicians and being able to work independently.
The program is enjoyable but some tasks on the gateways are outdated as you won’t see many people in the industry complete those jobs.
Pretty well structured and organised rarely there isn’t a plan for the college day.
I get a lot of support from other technicians in the workshop and everyone at collards with my apprentice, either that be learning something new or strengthint skills i already know.
Throughout my apprenticeship I have received much help from the college with them helping me understand certain topics.
Going though this qualification definitely has developed my skills and my knowledge to be able to preform at this job better
