1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

In my current placement of Product Audit, im part of the team who tests engine produced down the assembly line, this includes stripping engines and running engines to simulate a real life car performance.

2. Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learned vast amounts about engines 3/4 cylinders and bigger V8/V12 engines, their components and how they function on a technical level. I have also learnt how engines are run on test beds to simulate real life driving, and the requirements for these test beds, including maintenance requirements and the technical measurements taken.

3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy learning about the business and how the whole production network functions to produce the vast amount of vehicles that BMW produces annually.

My training provide offers as much support as possible, they are always open to help whenever I need it.

It offers me a wide range of information that is used everyday, such as mathematics, quality methods, mechanics and many others technical subjects

There are many activities available, such as football, and other company sponsored walks etc.
