Tax compliance with some minor advisory work. Mostly deal with manager with some limited direct contact with clients
The role is new to me, so everything exposed to is new
The role itself and the required qualifications are fine, however the associated duties and task arise because of the apprenticeship I find unnecessary and adding additional burden to already full schedules
Feel it could be more organised, I have very limited contact with the apprenticeship coach which changed 3 times in the span of a year. Also wasn't aware my qualification was to be done under apprenticeship but might as well see it through.
In relation to the actual education and day to day there is plenty of support, on the apprenticeship side I'm close to end point assessment though not much info received on what should I expect.
Help are available for those who seek it.
It certainly ties in very closely with what we do, though to be honest the qualification is more for benchmarking to "prove" a person is capable on the book, someone without a qualification but done the job for many years can still be just as competent.
We got social committee and they definably do a lot and much efforts were put in, so always very appreciated from my perspective.
Yes
Is a fair company with size to match it's expectation, it also provide opportunity for internal staff and a good place for a new starter in the industry to develop naturally which is what apprenticeship is designed for.
Honestly I can't help much with this as is more of a HR side of things.
