  • My team are a point of escalation for invoice and other finance related disputes. As a senior team member I resolve customer issues and coach colleagues on investigating invoice disputes.

  • I have learnt new skills and reinforced existing skills during the apprenticeship.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoyed the programme. I enjoyed the self driven aspect of the learning process and the format of the apprenticeship that Cambridge Spark provide and the systems they have developed.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The programme was very well structed with regular workshops and deadlines. This helped keep me on track through the apprenticeship.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I received a lot of support throughout the apprenticeship. From regular meetings with my line manager and support from the Early Careers Programmes Manager to being allows the time to complete the apprenticeship.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I received regular time with my subject specific mentor and and my learner success coach. They also provided regular drop in sessions and live workshops.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • It has increased my efficiency and ability to complete my role and has allowed me to take on new responsibilities and projects.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • There are regular social events, and I believe a football team.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • There are opportunities for those that want to pursue them. Pearson is a huge company and there are many possible roles. They are supportive with self improvement, such as my completing this apprenticeship.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Pearson plc?
  • Pearson is a huge company, when applying for roles don't think you have to stick with that role forever. There are a lot of opportunities.
