  • 1. Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
  • I am currently on a rotational graduate scheme in Finance, this means that my time on the programme is split into different teams. I am currently in the FP&A UK&I team. This role involves building reports, forecasting, reporting, etc. I have also been given the opportunity to manage several projects within Finance, this has allowed me to gain additional professional experience.

  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I really enjoy the culture here at Experian and the learning opportunities available to me on my graduate scheme. I am very fortunate for the type of programme that has been carefully developed.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • My programme is organised and structured really well - we get a road map of the journey we are about to start when we first join - as well as opportunities to add what we want to see.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • I have personally received quite a lot of support - quite a few of us found that our apprenticeship provided wasn't originally providing the support that we needed to get through our exams, the Early Careers team here at Experian listened and helped find a better provider - this has significantly improved my confidence and happiness (as well as results).

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • We are with BPP and I think they are great, there are a lot of resources, mocks, lessons and contact time. They have a structured program for each level and break down into weekly steps.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I think it allows me to bridge the theory into practice.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Yes there are lots! We currently have 9 employee resource groups that we can get involved in - these all throw networking mixers, events and webinars etc. In addition to this, there are many socials available for the graduates to help meet each other and discover more of the city we are based in.

  • 9a. Would you recommend Experian to a friend?
  • Yes

  • 9b. Why?
  • Compared to a lot of my friends experiences on Finance Graduate schemes at different companies, I have came to realise how fortunate I am for the support that Experian and the Early Careers team have in place - they really see us as individuals and make us feel seen/heard.

  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Experian?
  • Be yourself - be authentic, ask questions, and above all be a team player!
