Service, MOTs, assisting with anything that need repairing and/or replacing. Inspecting and diagnosing any problems with the vehicle.
Yes I have learnt a lot and have gained a handful of skills and developed some too.
I enjoy it a lot every day, I find the technical side of things very interesting with vehicles.
Its ok, sometimes the communication isn’t so great and can put some things to a halt. But it has gotten better over the last few months.
I receive a lot of support from the people around me, they educate me well and tell me straight when I do something wrong.
My skills coach does help me a fair bit when I do see him, he makes sure I am remembering things and actually taking in the knowledge being passed along.
It teaches me everything I will need to know and when I’ll need it, overall I will perform better and produce better work through everything I learn from this qualification.
The company hosts a christmas do when the time comes around, and employees will organise the odd get together every now and then.

Because overall it’s a great line of work to get into and can aid you in your day to day life.
You’re gonna break something every once in a while most of the time it isn’t the biggest of deals depending on what went wrong.
