I am a lead of Learning & Development projects and I also deliver training to our colleagues. I work with multiple stakeholders across all areas of our business: National Office, Store Operations and Warehouse Operations
Yes I have been exposed to new information such as learning theories and project management tools that have supported me within my role to perform at a higher level
I really enjoy it, I love learning and I find L&D so interesting it is great to be able to complete this alongside my role
Everything is planned out in the Lifetime portal so I know what is upcoming, and my coach is available for support outside of our regular reviews and catch ups
My manager is really supportive in giving me tasks and projects to do that will support my off the job hours and help my overall learning
I've always been made to feel there is support available and that I can take the time required to study and complete apprenticeship work
I think it has brought me new knowledge and ideas that has helped me develop my skills, and improve my overall performance at work so I definitely think it has helped
Yes there is but this does not fit in with my personal commitments outside of work. During work hours there is an opportunity to attend conferences if relevant to role which I have done before
Yes
Aldi is a great place to work. There is a lot of opportunity for personal and professional development and being part of a fast growing business that also operates globally means there is a lot of opportunity to learn and take on new tasks and projects.
Be prepared to work hard, but in return you will learn a lot and meet some amazing colleagues.
