Assisting the dentist, cleaning, sterilizing, one day a week learning and researching
Yes I’ve learnt many new skills
I like my training days where I learn new skills
Very well promised my assessor is really good at structuring my assessments and helping me understand my work and answering wuestions
As much support as I need
My assessor gives me lots of support and has motivated me to finish tasks and submit good quality work, my assessor has provided me with lots of information and is helping me try and complete the course as quick as possible to the highest standard.
My trading provider/ assessor gives me vital information such as in my webinars which help me understand my role better, I would say that I would be able to still do my daily jobs and tasks without the “training” however the extra information and the qualification is helpful
We have social activities sometimes and regularly do things as a team at lunch, we’re all friendly and go out on walks or on runs together
Yes
Tempdent has really good structure in my option, my webinar Tutour and my online assessor are really good at explaining information to me and providing me with knowledge whilst keeping me motivated. Other trainees at my work have mentioned that they don’t feel this way so I am happy that I have an assessor that i get along with and who is motivated to help me with my apprentaship
Make sure you have a want to work and also work, make sure you can multitask and deal with having multiple tasks to work on at once, make sure you can do “public” speaking or recorded speaking as this is needed on the course, make sure you have a want to help people are this is needed in the dental practice
