I am a Team Leader in a Quality Control department within the company called Wayfair. I am making sure day to day tasks and responsibilities are met with success by managing workforce, material and adhering to the internal processes
I have discovred new mthodologies to mentor, coach, manage and motivate people.
It was absolutely the thing I needed to improve my abilities and being more competitive in case the better position in management arise.
I was happy with the structure and time allowance. Well made.
Due to major restructuring of the company, we had to adapt to new staffing situation, where we were expected to work more with lot less staff. That included less time to spend on my apprenticeship. I however booked time for my assignments to do, and company was helpful.
No issues at all, anytime I needed, my mentor Cindy Clarke was there to help. Amazing experience.
I discovered that some of the methodologies I've already used as it was part of my personality and prior experience. It was very helpful to see that somebody put it in a form and it is clearly presented as a way to manage. This helped a lo.t.
My team use to go to dinners together, bit of a team building activities. Go karting, golf.
