I am an area manager for a home care provider based in Nottingham. My role is to manage a team of support workers and ensure that they support the service users in my nominated area to live their daily lives how they wish to and feel supported
I am always learning new skills on a daily basis within my role and personal life
I am not doing a program I am the manager for 3 support workers who are completing it.
From talking to my support worker I feel that the program is well structured and will help them gain valuable knowledge to excel and progress within their role
I as an employer ensure my staff feel fully supported and that they receive the time off they need to complete the course and fully support them when they need me to

I feel that the training will help my support worker excel in their role and in future careers
We have staff meetings and with all the staff being in area chat groups they often arrange times to meet up
