Nursery nurse apprentice Review

Work within a room, taking care of children, following different routines, creating different activities, planning and observing children, working in partnership with parents and agencies.

I have gained many new skills and lots of new knowledge. Through my course and working in a nursery setting I’ve gained lots of information on different topics of childcare. I have gained new skills and improved on skills such as time management, organisation, team work, communication and becoming more confident.

I enjoy my programme. It’s extremely beneficial and I’ve gained lots of new and effective knowledge. My tutor/ assesor is extremely supportive and helpful.

It’s well organised and structure which helps makes it easier to follow, complete and be overall more accessible.

I receive lots of support and guidance from my employer and staff at the setting I work at. They offer lots of support through mental health chats, open door policy and being overall friendly, approachable and welcoming.

I receive lots of support from my training provider, who ensures that I’m completing tasks well and up to date. They’re very supportive and easy to contact if I need help or support with the programme. She supports me with deadlines and different topics that I may be struggling with.

Completing my qualification, through my training provider, alongside working within the setting is extremely beneficial as it helps me understand and learn new things. The training provides me with the knowledge I need to work well and effectively.
