Support the team by carrying out assistant and administration duties such as: -Preparing weekly/regular report presentations for population. Securing completion by advising managers of its availability and ensuring they are available to fill them in. -Reviewing schedules of activities to check progress. Identifying and flagging activities which are late and chasing up to request completion or updates. -Diary management and travel bookings.
I'm relatively new but I have developed employability skills and planning skills. I've also developed my interpersonal and communication skills. I have also been making use of my research skills with the tasks I've down. Shadowing work styles and communication has been developed as well.
I've just started but the programme so far has been a placement as a part of the team. I have enjoyed completing the tasks and hearing about the different experiences of staff that have been with Pearson for a while.
The programme is very well structured and allocates appropriate time for each task. Regular check ins have contributed to my good experience with this programme. There has been some delay with certain processes but nothing too drastic.
We get our lunch paid for and get regular touch ups with early careers to assess how we have been doing. The team is ready to offer advice and assistance at all times.
Our provider is very supportive with our education and our industry placement. They also provide reimbursement for travel to our work placements.
Our training provider has given us support when it comes to foundational knowledge when it comes to project management, business communication, and business behaviours.
Not that worried about sports activities but we will be invited to apprenticeship networking events. Professional networking will also be offered .
Yes
Pearson is a very supportive environment eager to tailor to the needs of the apprentice.
Be eager to learn and to be curious about Pearson and team.
