  • 3. To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
  • I enjoy my programme massively. I look forward to coming into work everyday for a couple reasons... the social side, working with people you get along with is great and also helps with the settling into my role. As well as the value I get form the work I'm doing, knowing it has a true impact to patients.

  • 4. How well organised/structured is your programme?
  • The perfect balance. I haven't missed a uni day in my first 2 years and the support I get from this form my line manager is brilliant. But also I am given enough work to manage throughout the working days making sure I am not overwhelmed and can still perform to my best.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • A lot of support! I have a great line manager and colleagues, who I feel confident enough I can talk to escalate any queries of mine. When I started my apprenticeship I was assigned a mentor and 'buddy' that automatically made me feel supported from my first day on the job.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • I'd say I receive enough support for what I need however I do think there could be some improvement with support from lecturers as I work through the course. However the alignment of a success manager and having quarterly check ins with them is a fine level of support that is necessary for myself,

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • I think the more theory side of the course like project management, IT Service management etc I can apply the learnings to my day to day job however the more technical side like data analytics and python doesn't align to the work I do but I can see the benefit of having a understanding of what it is.

  • 8. Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
  • Lots! The apprenticeship team here at AstraZeneca are great at organising events like night outs, coffee catch ups at work, lunches etc. Its a great balance for all personalities to get involved and feel included. Most recently I have just taken part in a annual charity netball event, which was super fun!
