I work alongside the HR Business Partners on project work, supporting them with their day-to-day needs and working together to achieve our team objectives.
I have learnt so many new skills and improved so much knowledge around HR specifically but other skills such as Excel and presenting too.
The programme is excellent, it's giving me the strategic knowledge and HR methodology to put into practice in my role. I love that my work give me time to complete this during my working days.
The structure is brilliant, there is a clear learning path set out from the start with a direction on what is required and how to succeed.
BT give me 6 hours a week in work time to complete my apprenticeship, which is excellent. They are also tailoring my work to achieve the tasks required for the apprenticeship and I have a support network of colleagues doing it too.
I have a dedicated skills coach who I meet with monthly, but through their learning system I can contact her any time with questions or queries.
A considerable amount, I know understand the reasoning behind business decisions, can look at projects more holistically and through a HR lense with more knowledge to understand it with.
We have so much going on, we get 3 volunteer days a year to use, when working in the contact centres there's always different themed events depending on what's happening throughout the year.
Yes
They are a supportive company that support your development by paying for courses, providing work time and also management support too. We get lets of extra perks for working with the company with rewards, discounts and it's just a great environment to work in.
