  • Developed many key skills such as stake holder management, time management and excel proficiency.

  • Highly enjoy the programme as you aren’t just making tea and coffees as you may think as an apprentice, but making real impact for the business working on revenue generating projects for the business.

  • Very well structured, the uni integrates very well into the programme and are happy to make adjustments where needed.

  • 5. How much support do you receive from your employer?
  • A lot of support is given when needed, but you are also given a lot of independence to work independently. Regular meetings with your line manager help align your expectations with business needs.

  • 6. How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
  • As there is a very small cohort we receive immense amount of support from the training provider. Especially in regards to our assignments and considerations are taken into account when needed.

  • 7. How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
  • The modules of our degree were predetermined by the employer and the training provider therefore the degree matches up perfectly with the job role.

  • There’s many events to get involved with arranged by the business as well as apprentice events that allows you to network with your fellow apprentices and colleagues.

  • Yes


  • 9b. Why?
  • Bloomberg has an amazing culture built into its ethos, this is collaboration your colleagues are always down for a chat and ready to impart their knowledge onto you at any given opportunity.


  • 10. What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Bloomberg?
  • You don’t need to be an expert in all things finance, however know how key financial concepts may be used in day to day business as well as research Bloombergs other business products.
