I am given placements round the different engineering teams/ disciplines within Siemens. This gives me lots of different experience in different areas. I get to work on projects and visit site.
Presenting skills, Technical Writing, Excel, Word, Emergency First Aid, Project Management Fundamentals, CAD, Programming, Basic Signalling Training, Design, Testing and more.
I enjoy how the teaching is delivered via 6 teaching blocks a year. The Entry Level Talent team gives us many opportunities to Network and Socialise with others. The work is interesting and I am given lots of new experience.
There is not a set training plan which means it can be a little disjointed. The university was very unorganised in my first year but it has improved and continuous to.
I can receive as much support as I possibly need.
The lectures are well taught. Extra help is given.
There is lots of relevant topics that I can clear see and relate to in my role. However, I am concerned at what the degree will mean as it has not been accredited yet.
Social activity such as celebration and networking events, Football team, Professional Networking Events, special work projects to gain more experience.
