The role is within audit, so on a day to day basis you are performing different tests on different financial statement areas, mainly using Excel, writing up your method and results. At times you will need to liaise with clients if a query comes up. You will always be communicating with a team.
I have definitely expanded my Excel skills, which were pretty limited when I started. As time goes on, you pick up new things from the people you work with, which can really help the efficiency of your work.
10/10. Crowe is a great, flexible environment to work in, and everyone is extremely patient and willing to help you develop.
The programme is very well structured by the Early Careers team, who create an individual training plan for all apprentices, detailing exam dates, study leave, and other key dates to ensure the programme runs smoothly.
Kaplan is great in terms of support, with online tutors always available, as well as your in-class tutor always being available for an email if needed. The online resources are very useful too.
I have definitely found that the more exams I have taken has meant I understand my role more, and thus can reach more accurate conclusions and perform tasks with more autonomy.
