fixing machinery when a break down occurs, I look into the fault and the electrical side of how the fault could occur. I then begin to repair the machine and hand it back. I work in a team of both electrical and mechanical biased people to speed up the fault finding and fixing process.
I have learnt basic hand fitting techniques and the tools that I will be required to use. I have also leant basic fault finding techniques and gathering and using infomation to aid the process.
I am thorough enjoying my apprentaship program with BAE Systems and I have learnt a lot so far. i am excited for my future career with BAE
the organisation is good, my placements with in BAE are arranged and the transfer to other teams is smooth and working along side new teams is good.
I have received a lot of support from BAE.
BAE offers a paid for education and it is you to you to take the qualifications offered and complete all the courses.
the qualification I am currently doing is very interesting however has very small relevance to my pathway career I am on. It gives my a general oversite of engineering subjects such as maths, science and business integrity.
Yes
BAE is a very good company to work for and offers a range of opportunities.
Make sure that you bring up and talk about your experiences and hobbies as much as possible and it gives you a competitive edge against other candidates as grades isn't everything.
